the South American Irish Dance Teachers Association
SAIDA is the official South American Irish dance teachers association for An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha established in 2016 to foster, promote and regulate Irish dancing in South America. We have members with classes available in Argentina, Chile, Brasil and Colombia with regular competitions, grade exams and performances to show off South America's talent and love for the Irish cultural traditions.
SAIDA annually hosts the "Oireachtas Rince An Meiriceá Theas - South American Championships",
where dancers can compete to become South American Champion Irish Dancers and qualify for World Championships
A group of 10 dancers have qualified for World Championships Glasgow 2024 at our South American Championships in Santiago de Chile 2024
